Prophecy of Zechariah

There is a movement that is taking place at this time in history. Many refer to it as the Hebrew roots movement. Many are recognizing many untruths that are being taught in the churches today. Many are coming to an understanding that our Heavenly Father has called us into a relationship with Him that is not mingled with the worship of false gods. He gave His people some instructions so that they might go in THE WAYs of life and so that their worship of Him was for Him alone. Many are awakening to the understanding that the WORD is in union and that there is no division in it. Yahushua is the word from the beginning and the scripture says that THE WORD IS NOT TO HAVE ANYTHING TAKEN AWAY FROM IT! And it is not to have anything added to it. Scripture also says that THE WORD OF THE LORD IS FOREVER!

Zechariah gives a prophechy about a time when men will come to the Jewish people who know Yahuah and will say to them, we will go your way, we see the truth of the WORD and that it is true and lasting to every generation as Yahuah said it would.

Zechariah 8:23
Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days (a day yet to come) it shall come to pass that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations (referance to the promise given to Abe...out of every nation, kindred and tongue will he call His people, the lost sheep), even shall they take hold of the skirt (referance to the tzi tzi, or hem of His garment) of him that is a Jew, saying,
'We will go with you:
(The Way of the Torah)
for we have heard that God is with you' (The WORD of Yahuah is the way, the truth and it is the life and Yahushuah is the word of Yahuah...He is whole and complete. In Him alone the way is literally spelled out to us and for the times when we fail the way, He has made provision by Himself (His physical sacrifice of His body) so that we might not be lost again from THE WAY of life.

We, the lost sheep are being called by the Shepard. The breach of His people is finally going to be bound up (no more separation) and healed, and as always, it will be THE WORD of Yahuah that restores all things. Scripture says, one law for all, one shepard, one flock, one word, one spirit and they ALL agree.

In this "Hebrew roots" movement, we see people being "restored" to the WORD given by Yahuah from the beginning. They are beginning to keep Sabbath (friday sunset to Saturday sunset), wear tzi tzi (fringe on the hem of their garment as instructed by scripture), keep the holy Feast days (and not the pagan holidays) as the scripture instructs. People are learning about the prophetic truths that are embedded in the Feasts days that point to the return of our Messiah. No wonder satan wants the world to believe that the first half is not for us and that if we take hold of it, it will bring us death...because he is a liar! He doesn't want us to know when our Messiah will come and he also doesn't want us to recognize Him. If we don't know that He WAS AND IS THE WORD (the same one from the beginning...nothing added to, nothing taken away...it doesn't change) then we may miss Him just the way they did! Yahuah forbid.

Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, sound the trumpet!

Hebrew roots and why you need to know about it...

"... thou bearest not the root, but the root thee." Romans 11:18

The Hebraic Roots movement is many things, but one of its key elements is the work to restore the lost Hebraic nature of scripture to Christians. Sometimes this is called returning to our Jewish roots, and so it is in part, but it is more. The Most High gave His people instructions that would be unmistakable in the world as belonging to Him. His people were to be His own and be a chosen people, a kingdom of priests, a holy nation. One of the worst things that could happen to the people of Adonai is to assimilate into the world's fashion and to mingle our worship so that it is not set apart: to think like the world thinks and to follow the world's lead. Our purpose is to lead the world to worship and obey the Almighty and to understand that His ways are the ways of life and not death!!! With such a task before us we must be assimilation proof. We must reflect the ancient ways he gave us else how can we show that we have something different and better to offer the world. As the scripture teaches us, we are graphed into them...not them into us.

Comments from
Mark Biltz, El Shaddai Ministries (I have added my thoughts to the above statement to try and clearify the meaning of the statement)

Mark Biltz also has teaching on Channukkah which further explains the problems that are arising related to Abba's people assimilating in the world and how those who haven't done so will be "set apart" from the rest of the world in the end of days.  Very interesting information and well worth your time to listen to.  I don't have a link to that particular teaching but here is a link to his site where you could get info. to help locate it:

Beatin' the heat

Uncle Tanner and Uncle Caleb are coolin' off in the water and they have a guest.
As you saw previously, we had gotten Braelynne a little pool of her own, but she has come to like the "big boy pool" just as much as her pool. She likes to float. She thinks that floating is just fine so she's hanging out with her Uncles, Tanner and Caleb doing just that.

We started messing around trying to find ways for her to float without sitting on someone's lap and we put a towel over the floatie and she sat in the middle of it and she thought that was pretty fun too because she likes to do things on her own!

When Braelynne comes in the morning, almost the first thing out of her mouth is, "side?" with her little finger pointing at the door. She's an outdoor girl. We can't even say the word around her because she has her radar on and hears it and immediately asks to go, "side?"

Uncle Tanner and Uncle Caleb like it when "B" is having a good time.

Summer cooling refreshing ideas to beat the heat!

A simple lemonade with honey and real lemons. It'sreally thirst quenching. I use a short cup of honey mixed with a cup of warm water to liquify it. Then I add the juice of up to 6 lemons, sometimes throwing in a lime or two. Add water to make a gallon.Shake. Chill. Enjoy.

I also like what we call "Honegar." It's a mix of a short cup of honey and a short cup of apple cider vinegar with a gallon of water. This drink will really get your electrolytes in fast. When cramping up because of sweating too much from the weather, working outside in the blazing sun, have a glass of Honegar and it relaxes muscles almost instantly because of the minerals. A glass of Natural Calm magnesium will work as well, but we save that for at night.

The Honegar will reinvigorate, load you with mineral/electrolytes, flush out your system and it's just plain oldrefreshing.

Is Our Creator's Name GOD?

The Truth About The Father's Name

Mark Twain once wrote that "When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years." The wisdom of a father is an unmatched wealth of experience and advice.

It is interesting that people with devoted dads usually have an easy time relating to God the Father. "Daddy" is a title that lovingly describes relationship. Earthly fathers may be named Jerry or Tom, but does the Heavenly Father have a name? People sing "blessed be the name of the Lord" yet seldom know the identity of this blessed name. The Son's name is clear and many are familiar with the Holy Spirit. What about the Father?
A careful reading of Exodus 3 reveals more than just the story of a burning bush. Here, one can learn the true name of the Father. At the burning bush, Moses learns that the Almighty wants to use him to deliver the Israelites from the bondage of Pharaoh. It's been many years since Moses left Egypt and he's doubtful the people will even accept him as the legitimate deliverer sent from above. For the people to follow him, Moses needs a miracle. He needs a higher authority to vouch for him.

Here on Mt. Horeb the Almighty passes before Moses and "the LORD said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations." Here in Exodus 3:15 the LORD reveals His name as the four Hebrew lettered tetragramatron yod-hey-vav-hey or "YHWH." Some pronounce this name as "Yahweh" or "Yahuah."

Throughout the Bible, YHWH is used over 6,000 times exclusively as the name of the Father. This name is usually explained in the preface or introduction of most Bibles and hidden behind translator's techniques. The King James Version capitalizes the words "LORD" or "GOD" in an effort to alert the reader that "YHWH" is the Hebrew word behind the English. The KJV sometimes uses the poetic form of "Jah" to reference the mighty name of YHWH. This can be seen in Psalm 68:4. YHWH says emphatically in Exodus 3 that "this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations." This name was not intended to be hidden by scribes and translators; rather YHWH Himself gave it to man as a sign of His existence and as a means of personal relationship.

Traditionally, this name is not used by observant Jewish people as many believe the name is too holy to be uttered. Judaism has replaced the sacred name with "Adonai" or "HaShem." Christianity as well has ignored the name of YHWH by substituting generic terms like "God" in English or "Dios" in Spanish. These words are not specific to the deity of the Bible and can easily reference Allah or Buddha. Using such replacement terms is in direct opposition to Isaiah 42:8 which states, ""I am YHWH, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another."

One can say the true name of YHWH in prayer, praise, study, and witnessing. By using the Sacred Name a believer can experience the power of spiritual intimacy. The Father's name is not God or Billy Bob, it is "YHWH."

Father's Day

I just wanted to take a minute to remind the men in my life who are fathers how much I appreciate them.

Dad, thank you for the decisions you've made on my behalf, you've shown selfless love to me.

Craig, thank you for loving me when I am MOST unlovable. You've shown me real commitment and steadfastness.

Corey, Thank you for giving me the blessings of seeing my children's children. It is the blessing of this life. You have shown me the miracle of watching your children grow and the speed in which life travels.

Merle, thank you for being such a good example to Craig of how a man should love his family. It spills over to me and my family.

I love you all and I am thankful for you and for the gift of being the Fathers that you all are. Have a great Father's Day because you all deserve it for all you do everyday!

From one who has benefited from your sacrifices of love

Will We Learn From The Examples Left To Us?

1Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for OUR instruction upon whom the ends of the world have come.

The things that happened to the Jews were written and recorded for us, so that we would not be guilty of the same mistakes the had made. They murmured and complained. They would not rest (show faith, believe) in the things that Yahuah told them to do. They would not trust that Yah was able to keep them by His instructions for life (His word).

Are WE reliving exactly what the Jews did? Their hearts were stone and they would not receive who or how Yahushua was to come the first time and what His mission was when He came to them...to be the sacrificed lamb. They were looking for the reigning King, expecting the Messiah to be the reigning king who would put an end to the sufferings of Yah's people. They could not receive the first work that He must do in His appearing. Therefore, many of them could not receive Him because they held onto and believed the traditions of mens teachings and the wrong doctrines that were being taught about how the Messiah would appear to them and what His work would be when He came. They would not believe the word, but held to what they had been wrongly taught.

Could WE have hard hearts and many of US miss Him in His final appearance because we too will not receive Him as He is to come in the mission or work He is to do...as the Judge of the world...the unpolluted, unmixed, WORD of God?

We have been taught in the doctrines of men that the WORD of Yahuah is separated by the testaments, that the new supersedes the old...but Yahushua said "I AM the first and the last, the beginning and the end." Doesn't scripture teach that the WORD is eternal? Doesn't the scripture teach that the WORD does not change? Doesn't the scripture teach that the WORD is ONE? Yet, we follow the doctrines of men holding onto the teachings that when Yahushua came to earth He taught in opposition to the "foundational" teachings laid down from the beginning. Paul said the WORD (aka law, Torah) is established not done away with.

Doesn't Yahuah call Himself our Father? Doesn't a Father teach His children His ways out of LOVE? Would a Father give His children His instructions to live a life pleasing to Him and then later tell His children that if they do those instructions they will die because they are death to them? Is that the kind of thing we would do to our children? NEVER!! We would never teach them to do something that we knew would later bring them death....NEVER!!! If we love them, we will do all we know to teach them THE WAYs to life, good and successful and prosperous. That is what a Father does who loves His children.

Do WE believe what the WORD says or what mens traditions wrongly say?

Does the WORD say not to add or take away from the scriptures? Oh, and who divided the book anyway?

Grandma Betty

If there is one thing I have learned since Grandma passed away it is the harsh finality of her not being here for me to speak with. If I told you one thing to always be mindful of in your relationships, it would be to remember that as the scripture reminds us, "our lives are like a vapour of smoke, here today and gone tomorrow." We do not know the number of our days. Love the ones Yah has given you to love with everything you have and you will NEVER regret that.

Life flies past us each day. Be certain of the path you are choosing today and you will not end up some place you shouldn't be tomorrow. There is only one sure path.

I look forward to the day when I get to see grandma face to face again. Until then, I learn to wait.

Classic Lasagne

This one takes a little time in preparing but it's not too complicated and it's a good meal if your having company because it makes plenty for everyone.

9 uncooked lasagne noodles (sprouted grain will be your healthy choice for noodles if you're trying to eat healthy)

Meat sauce
1-2# Hamburger (I use 2#) (we use hamburger as we do not eat pork)
3-4 tsp Hot sausage seasoning (adjust to your taste, we like it a little spicey)
2 tsp Onion powder (my kids don't like onions so I have to use this instead)
2 tsp Basil
2 (6 oz) Cans organic tomato paste
1 (16 oz) Can organic chopped tomatoes
1 C Water
1 Clove of garlic minced

Cheese mixture
15 oz Ricotta cheese
4C Mozzarella cheese ( you'll use 3-31/2 cups in this mix and end with 1- 1/2 cup on top)
1/2 C Grated parmesan cheese
2 Eggs slightly beaten

I do this as a "do ahead" and brown the hamburger, hot sausage seasoning, onion powder and basil together. Then I add the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, garlic and water and place this all in the crock pot. I cook it on high for about 4 hours. If you're going to be gone all day, cook it on low for 8 hrs.

When your'e ready to put it all together, Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Cook your noodles according to the directions on the package.

In a large mixing bowl combine ricotta cheese, 3 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan cheese and slightly beaten eggs while your noodles are cooking and oven is heating.

When noodles are done, layer 3 of them in baking dish, spread 1/2 of cheese mixture over noodles and 1/3 of the meat mixture.
Layer 3 more noodles on top of that and the other half of the cheese mixture then 1/3 of meat mixture.
Place last layer of noodles on and last 1/3 of meat mixture and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Cover with tin foil (not touching the food) and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes.

Serve with a garden salad topped with sunflower seeds, raisins, onions (if you like them), green peppers, strawberries and a nice raspberry walnut vinagrette salad dressing.

Great meal and you'll most likely have left overs that you can wrap up and freeze and have a quick meal another day!

A Day at the Pool

Here are the kids helping "B" out in the pool. Empire the kitty (yes, Tanner named him Empire, he thinks like his big brother Corey) is coming to see what all the hub bub's about and miss B is giving him her acceptance. "B" really likes to play in the water and the boys love it when she's having fun! It may be harder to keep Caleb out of "B's" pool than "B"!

A Visitor

This little fellow has been visiting our house for a few nights now. He comes up onto the deck looking for leftovers ( the cat food the kitties don't finish). The kitties just sit there and watch him and walk by him like nothing. He looks at us thru the glass of the patio doors and doesn't seem to care too much that we're there, BUT Max the dog strikes fear into him and causes him to go a runnin' right now. Max is a 3 year old yellow lab who is still a puppy at heart and doesn't have a clue about being mean but ol' bandit here doesn't know that so I guess he'll have to find out on his own!
I don't think he's even a year old yet, he looks pretty young and maybe not too wise on the evils of the world yet. Hope he never has to know it!

Grandma Betty

My Grandma passed away a few months ago. She and my Grandpa raised me from 6 months of age. She was 84 years old when she passed. I miss her very much. I really could never imagine what life would be like without her. I wasn't sure how I could live without her but I knew that a MAJOR part of my life would be gone and I would be left to try hold my life together without the woman who was always there for me, who always, always loved me no matter what. I miss her.

After she passed away, I was so much in despair. I was reading in the scriptures because the LORD says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." I began to read in the book of II Samuel 1:1-27 (not for any particular reason, in fact it had been quite a while since I had read anything from the book of Samuel) and the story there was about David and his loss of Johnathan who was like a brother to David and the LORD really spoke to my heart and my situation through this and comforted me out of His word. In the story Johnathan was like a brother to David and David loved Johnathan dearly. II Sam 1:25 David said that Johnathan was slain in his high places meaning that when Johnathan died, he was where the LORD intended for him to be, this reminded me that my grandma was in the LORD's hand. She trusted Him and believed the things He said to be true so He was with her where she was even in death. II Sam 1:26 David said "I am distressed for you my brother Johnathan, very pleasant have you been unto me, your love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women, how are the mighty fallen!" He was in such distress and sadness for this brother who he loved so dearly, who was now gone. I understood David's heart and his mourning. I was broken for my grandmother knowing that her love was wonderful to me and how it would be so deeply missed. And, how are the mighty fallen...she was mighty! She endured a body that gave out on her long ago and still trusted that Yahuah was true even when she did not see healing, even when she could not get out of bed. Even though life was so not what she longed for it to be. Always talking of being pleasing to the LORD. She was mighty in battle! ISamuel 18:1-3 says; "The soul of Johnathan was knit with the soul of David and Johnathan loved him as his own soul..." Wow, what love he had for his brother, he loved him as if he were one with himself! The scripture says "the life of Johnathan was bound up with the life of David." Tied together.

When the LORD places a love in our hearts we become bound up, tied together and when we become separated the wound is great. My grandma asked the LORD to give her a little girl 44 years ago and He sent me to live with her. She always said I was a gift from God to her and she loved me. She always loved me no matter what I did or didn't do. She was not my Grandma by blood (that's a long story)but she bound herself to me and I was bound to her.

I Samuel 20:42 Johnathan tells David to "go in peace", for as much as they two had made a covenant and sworn in the name of the LORD (Yahuah), saying, "the LORD be between me and you and between my seed and your seed forever." Johnathan sends David off with a blessing basically and tells him to remain in peace even while they are physically separated because the LORD has bound them together forever and even their seed. I felt this to be a blessing to me also because it reminded me that the LORD wants me to be in peace even though we are apart. And even though we're apart we are still bound together, because of His promises of eternal life, forever! She trusted Him and tried to live the way He asks us to do. I trust Him and know that what He says is true. We have hope to be with the LORD and to be together again! The LORD has been good to me to comfort me by His word. I still miss her very much but I am thankful for His promises of life if we follow Him.

Our First Harvest From the Garden!

We planted our first "square foot'' garden this year and here is a picture of our first harvest, big beautiful radishes! It is amazing to be able to put a little seed in the ground and then pull out a beautiful vegitable you can actually eat! The radishes are the only thing ready yet but we planted tomatoes, peppers, beans, squash, cucumbers, garlic, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, spinach, carrots, lettuce, tomatillos and a couple of other things, I can't remember (haha!) I'm not sure how everything will do just yet but for now it all looks pretty nice and coming along well. This is Braelynne and the boys sitting in front of the garden that you can't see very well and "B" trying to step on the radishes! Here is a picture of the garden as it is coming along. There are a few empty spaces in the big one so that I can add to is as the season progresses (that's my plan anyway). "B" is standing in front of the smaller garden bed but it has plants in it that are growing the largest so far. Nice fresh veggies without junk on it that you don't know where it come from, how nice is that? So, here are some of my "little sprouts"; kids and veggies!

That's Entertainment!

This is "B". The blonde hair, blue eyed bombshell, looks just like her Mama! Acts just like her Daddy! My FIRST grandbaby. Caleb says "she has little bunny teeth" he's right, she does and they are so cute! Who would of ever dreamed I would get me a girl? And a blue eyed one at that! It is amazing. It is true that it is a blessing to live to see our grandchildren. What a gift, what a gift! We get a lot of entertainment out of this little , tiny girl! She is hours and hours of amusement. She's so pretty!

Does Faith Do Away With Works???

Habikuk 2:4 The just shall live by faith. In the book of Romans 3:31, Paul addresses this very question. He asks the question: "Do we make void God's instructions (aka law) because of faith? God forbid, we establish it."
The gospel of Yahushuah the Messiah is more that just facts to be believed(faith alone)...It is also a life to be lived, a life of set apartness, of which, the instructions were given to us from the beginning.
Faith in Yahushuah and who He is, IS enough in the beginning but we must lay a foundation for those who have come to believe in Yahushua as the redeemer so they may understand THE WAYs to life and once a foundation has been laid, then we are to move on into perfection.
WHAT IS THE FOUNDATION?
Scripture says in Hebrews 5:12 ...you have need that someone teach you the first principals of the oracles (sayings) of God and have become as one who needs milk (milk is the first needs of a babe...the foundation for it's life). For everyone who uses milk (first principals of God's sayings) is unskillful in the WORD of righteousness:for he is a babe (he is not skillful in the WORD yet).
The first principals are to be taught to us in the beginning of our faith and built on from there.
Don't we do this very thing when we teach our children how to live? We start with the most basic things in life and when those are learned (established) we move on to the next. We don't throw away the basics, they can't be changed...they just are and they don't need to be taught over and over because they are established and NOW WE CAN MOVE ON INTO HIGHER LEARNING. In GOD's teachings to us, He moves from the basics of physical laws to spiritual laws...basics to higher level, concrete to abstract...Just like children learn, HMMM?
Physical acts bring about the spiritual manifestations...FRUIT! You can't separate these two, physical and spiritual. They are created to be ONE. It makes a whole! It makes complete!
REMEMBER: James 2:20 don't you know vain man, that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD?
James 2:24 YOU SEE THAT BY WORKS A MAN IS JUSTIFIED, AND NOT BY FAITH ONLY.
You see it is taught that faith and works (works: the things God instructs us to do not what we THINK is ok to do) are to exsist together and anything else will produce a fruit that is not pure. The seed of that fruit will produce something mingled...that's why the bIBLE says: DON'T ADD TO WHAT THE WORD SAYS AND DON'T TAKE AWAY. It's so the fruit the WORD produces will be pure and produce only ONE kind. ONE...get it?

MY PRAYER

Father, make my feet set on YOUR path so that I go in the way determined by You each day. And that each day I may have a prosperous journey determined by your will so that I may impart some spiritual gift to your people so they may be established in you and that I may come to them and be comforted by our mutual faith in you.
Make me able to teach your ways, the gospel of truth and life which is from the beginning. Cause my words to be guided by you and my teaching to be from you in every situation in life. Make my tongue to be quiet when it should. Make my tongue to speak wisdom and guidance from you in due season. Make my tongue to speak lovingly with kindness. Cause discenment to be alive in me that I can know what you desire in all things.
Let your mercies be ever over my house and my children and my children's children that you are established in our hearts and evidenced in our daily lives.
In Yahushuah's name, let your will be done forever, Amen

Book Review "The Great Physician's Rx by Jordan Rubin

The Great Physician's Rx for Health and Wellness

The Great Physician's Rx by Jordan Rubin
This is a fantastic book on biblical, healthful eating and why we should eat biblically healthful. Jordan Rubin gives a very good explaination of why we should avoid certain foods as the bible instructs His people to do when He gives them "clean eating" rules for life. He sites the reasons why these "clean eating" rules still apply today (rules that are usually mistaught by most biblical teachers of today because of misunderstanding of scripture).
He discusses the fact that Yahuah (GOD of creation) wants His people to be a set apart people. Here is a paraphrase from his book: Yahuah lead Israel out of Egypt and explained to them...because I love you, I will give you commandments (instructions for life) to make you a separate, set apart people. I do this because I am a jealous GOD and I desire for you to live your life set apart to me because you love me. I want you to be my very own, not mingled with your ways but wholly doing the things I say because you love me. I have given you THE WAYs of life and when you do them, you will become a CITY ON A HILL!
He gives 50 days of example recipes along with lists of foods to aviod and foods which are created to promote our health. In the book, he discusses benefits of daily exercise and hygiene. He also gives resources. He has 2 web sites which you can go on to check out if you like: http://www.biblicalhealthinstitute.com/ and http://www.greatphysiciansrx.com/
