Is Our Creator's Name GOD?

You will see in this blog that when I refer to "God" I will often use a name rather than a title such as God or Lord. The name you will see me use will be Yahuah. In some places I have used Yahovah since many of you who read King James versions of the bible have seen this in the scriptures which say His name is Jehovah.

In a book called "His Name is ONE" by Jeff Benner, there is an explaination about the possible pronunciations of our Father's name, I will share it with you as follows: Many possible pronunciations for this name have been proposed over the centuries, some more common ones are Jehovah, Yahveh, Yahweh and (the one that seems most likely to me...) Yahuah. The actual pronunciation cannot be determined with complete accuracy but there are some clues within the biblical text.

When you see it written out in "english" you will see it like this: YHWH.

The 1st letter in the name is the Hebrew letter "yud." The modern Hebrew pronunciation of this letter is "y."
The 2nd and 4th letters of the Hebrew name is "h." Pronounced "h" or"e."
The 3rd letter is, in modern Hebrew, the letter "vav." While the modern pronunciation is "v," the ancient pronunciation was "w" which, is retained in the Arabic language, a sister language of Hebrew.

The Hebrew pronunciation of our "praise Yah" is "halleluYah." The name "Eliyahu" (aka Elijah) means "my God is Yah" and is another use of the shortened form of the name "YHWH" or "Yahuah." It is clear that the traditional pronunciation of the first part of the name is "Yah." The name "Eliyahu" has retained the pronunciation of the 3rd letter in the name "YHWH" or "Yahuah" as "u." We now have the pronunciation "Yahu" for the first 3 letters of the name.
The final letter "h" would of been pronounced as an "h", which would be silent or a breathy sound (example:"hhhh") (He is the BREATH OF LIFE!) Or the letter "e" pronounced "ey" (long "a" sound). So, just as in the name Eliyahu, the pronunciations would be "Yahuah" or "Yahuey."

I personally think it's the breathy "h" sound at the end so, I pronounce the creator of heaven and earth's name "Yahuah."
And now, you know why!
If you are interested in studying this out further, take a look at the hebrew pronuciations of some ot the fellas who wrote the books of the bible:
1. Isaiah is...Yesha'Yahu Meaning: Yahuah is salvation
2. Jeremiah is...YirmeYahu Meaning: Yahuah throws (like laying foundation)
3. Nehemiah is... NehemYah Meaning: Comfort of Yahuah

Aren't we to take on His name?

Hmmm? Wonder if it matters?

Who Is under Grace?

Yahuah (aka Yahovah) chose Israel. Israel did not choose Yahuah. He chose them because He loved them. He chose them out of His mercies and grace...not because they had done something to deserve it...nothing we do will ever make us deserve Him.
Yahuah's instructions (aka Torah or first 5 books given to Moses) Were given to the people who He had chosen because of His mercies and grace.
All men are already judged, fallen, and lost because of sin. The instructions (Torah) were given to the people saved by grace as THE WAY of grace. This leads us to the first commandment which is supposed to be our obvious first response because of His grace, and that commandment is "...have no other Gods before Yahuah."
Is this still a proper response to His grace? Is this still THE WAY, the truth and the life? Does this commandment STILL apply to you and me?  I'd have to say it does and if even one part of His word is true forever, isn't all of it...the WORD says it is to a thousand generations, that's at the very least 40,000 years!!!
We may honor Abba's instructions because He is our Heavenly Father and we are commanded to honor our Father but out of that honor, we learn to love Him and if we love Him  we keep His commandments... because by His grace He has chosen us as His children to give them to!  HalleluYAH!!!!!  Thank you Father for your saving grace!  Amien.

Everyday I put my feet on the floor, I choose.

Every new day I wake up, put my feet on the floor and I choose. Each day I am allowed a choice to choose anger or understanding, bitterness or acceptance, darkness or light. The choices we make will ultimately reveal the stuff we're made of.

The Comforter

John 15:26 But when THE COMFORTER IS come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH who proceedeth from the Father, HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME.

The comforter is the spirit of truth...John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them thru thy WORD, thy word is truth." So, does this mean that the comforter is the spirit of the WORD?

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they (the scriptures) are the words that testify of me.

John 5:46-47 For had you believed Moses, you would have believed me for he wrote of me. But if you don't believe Moses writings, how shall you believe MY words?

Try reading just the words highlighted in green in the above scriptures and see what is being said before reading on.

Today, do we believe Moses  writings or was he for another time...done away with, gone?

If we don't, can we believe the words Yahushua taught? Didn't Yahushua just say, "if you don't believe Moses, how can you believe what I say???" If Yahushua said/taught anything different from the scriptures, would they REALLY testify of Him... Hmmm?

Who is the father of lies? Would the father of lies really try to do away with "the way" of life and hide the very thing that can give us power and eternal life? Hmmm?

Could Yahushua have kept His Father's instructions in order to be sinless and then teach us that we could be sinful (not walk in His instructions for life) and that we can depart from the WORDS OF LIFE/the ways of being seperate and peculiar?
The scriptures above say:

Yahushua is the WORD and Yahovah's word is spirit and life. Yah's spirit was the life in Yahushua that caused Him to raise from the dead. His spirit is to be the life in us that will raise us from the dead! When we keep His word because we believe HE IS, His spirit of life dwells in us too and like it did in Yahushua, death will not hold us either! PRAISE HIM!!!

I have no greater joy than to know that my children walk in the truth.   III John 4
Thy WORD is truth. John 17:17

Blessed is every one that fears Yahuah; that walks in His ways. For they shall eat the labor of their hands: happy will you be and it will be well with you. Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house: your children like olive plants round about your table. Behold, the man shall be blessed that fears Yahuah. Yahuah shall bless you from Zion: and you shall see the good of His place Yahrushalem all the days of your life. Yea, you will see your children's children and peace upon Israel. Psalm 128:1-6

What does Yahuah require of thee but to fear Him and walk in all His ways, to love Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep His commandments and statutes. Deuteronomy 10:12-13

I stir up your mind to remember that you will be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of the commandments given by Yahushua. II Peter 3:2

Remember the former things of old: for I AM Elohiem and there is none else, I AM Elohiem, there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure...Isaiah 46:9-10

Yahuah is good and full of mercy each morning. His ways are set apart and He desires that we too should be set apart with Him in doing His pleasure. In doing the things that He determines are clean, holy, and set apart. He gave us all the instructions...question is, who do we believe is telling us "the way?"  Men's explaination of what they THINK the book says OR Yahuah's instructions that He said are forever? Hmmm? Who could be telling the truth? Could satan try to hide what he doesn't want us to see? What better plan but to try and hide or "do away with" the beginning, the foundation on which the WHOLE book stands...take that away and you just might have a whole differant ending?

Just thinkin'.
